Laser hair removal for the intimate area – discreet and precise

A sensitive area deserves a treatment where you feel safe. At dermAesthetics, you are treated by trained specialists, in a calm setting and with technology tailored to your skin.

Laser hair removal for the intimate area

Why many choose treatment for the intimate area

Few zones are shaved as often – and few react as sensitively to it. The hair here is coarser and curls back into the skin more easily as it grows. Add friction from tight clothing, moisture, and shaving that is due again before the skin has recovered. The result: razor bumps, ingrown hairs, and irritated spots that never quite settle.

This is exactly where laser hair removal for the intimate area comes in: less hair growth means shaving less often – and far less cause for irritation.

Treatment areas within the intimate area

Here is what belongs to which area with us – so you know in advance what you are booking.

Bikini line

The area at the sides and above the bikini line – everything that would be visible outside briefs or a bikini.

Full intimate area

The entire front intimate area, including the labia – complete treatment of this zone.

Buttock crease

The crease between the buttocks, often treated in combination with the intimate area.

Buttocks

The buttocks as a full-surface zone, bookable separately from the crease.

You can find all prices per session on our costs page.

How your treatment works

You are no more undressed than necessary

Only the area being treated is uncovered – everything else stays covered. The door is closed, and no one is in the room except you and your specialist.

Treated by trained professionals

Our NiSV-certified specialists treat this area every day. What feels unfamiliar to you is routine for them.

The test pulse comes first

Before the actual treatment begins, we apply a test pulse to a small spot. So you know how it feels before anything continues.

You set the pace

You can pause, ask questions, or stop at any time. Smaller zones like the bikini line are done in a few minutes anyway.

Gentle on sensitive skin

The skin in the intimate area is thinner and more sensitive than on the legs or arms. That is why the Candela GentleMax Pro laser releases a cooling spray onto the skin before each pulse – making the treatment noticeably more comfortable. The settings are adjusted to your skin type and hair structure, including darker skin tones. Learn more.

Laser hair removal for the intimate area: preparation and aftercare

Before your appointment

  • Shave the area one to two days beforehand so your skin can settle
  • Avoid epilating, waxing, and plucking – the laser needs the hair follicle as its target
  • Come to your appointment with no creams, oils, or deodorant on the skin
  • Avoid intense sun and self-tanner in the weeks before

After the treatment

  • Wear loose cotton underwear for the first few days to avoid friction
  • Skip the sauna, swimming pool, and hot baths for one to two days
  • Leave out intense sport for one to two days so the skin is not irritated further
  • Slight redness right afterwards is normal and usually fades quickly

You get the exact instructions for your case from us after every appointment.

That depends on your hair structure, skin type, and goal. Several sessions are usually needed, since hair only responds during its growth phase. You get a realistic assessment in your consultation.
