Laser hair removal for the face – precise and straightforward
Fine hairs on the upper lip, chin, or cheeks catch your eye in the mirror every day. At dermAesthetics, exactly this area is treated precisely, by trained specialists and with technology tailored to your skin.

Why many choose treatment for the face
No other area is as visible – and none gets checked as often. Plucking irritates the skin and often makes hairs grow back coarser, waxing leaves redness, and shaving feels wrong on the face to many. On top of that, makeup tends to emphasize stubble rather than cover it. The effort stays, and the result rarely lasts more than a few days.
This is exactly where laser hair removal for the face comes in: less hair growth means less plucking, less redness – and far less time in front of the mirror.
Treatment areas within the face
Here is what belongs to which area with us, so you know in advance what you are booking.
Upper lip
The area between the nose and upper lip, one of the most frequently treated facial zones.
Chin
The chin and chin area, often treated in combination with the upper lip.
Cheeks
The sides of the face, including the transitions toward the jawline.
Full face
Upper lip, chin, and cheeks together as a complete treatment.
Neck
The neck and hairline contours, bookable separately from the full face.
Areas can be freely combined. You can find what each zone costs on our laser hair removal costs page.
How your treatment works
Your eyes are protected
You are given protective goggles before treatment. The area around the eyes and the eyebrows are not lasered.
Treated by trained professionals
Our NiSV-certified specialists work with particular precision on the face, because the zones are small and the contours need to stay clean.
The test pulse comes first
Before the actual treatment begins, we apply a test pulse to a small spot. So you know how it feels before anything continues.
It is faster than you think
The upper lip is usually done in a few minutes, the full face in under a quarter of an hour.
Gentle on sensitive facial skin
The skin on your face is thinner and reacts faster than on the body. That is why the Candela GentleMax Pro laser releases a cooling spray onto the skin before each pulse – making the treatment noticeably more comfortable. The settings are adjusted to your skin type and hair structure, including darker skin tones. Learn more.
Before and after laser hair removal on the face
Before your appointment
- Shave or trim the area one to two days beforehand so your skin can settle
- Avoid plucking, threading, waxing, and epilating – the laser needs the hair follicle as its target
- Come to your appointment without makeup and with no creams or serums on the skin
- Avoid intense sun and self-tanner in the weeks before
After the treatment
- Skip makeup for the rest of the day so your skin can settle
- Wear sunscreen consistently in the days after – your face is exposed to the sun daily
- Leave out acids, retinol, and exfoliants for a few days
- Slight redness right afterwards is normal and usually fades quickly
You get the exact instructions for your case from us after every appointment.
Other treatment areas
Many combine the face with other zones.
